Hossam Al-Badri, coach of the Egyptian national team, confirmed his communication with Hamdi Fathy, the midfielder of the Pharaohs and Al-Ahly Club, on Tuesday evening, to check on his condition after the injury he suffered against Kenya.
Al-Badri indicated in statements on the Sada Al-Balad channel that Mahmoud Abdel Moneim “Kahraba”, the Al-Ahly player, was against his accounts in Egypt’s last camp, before he was excluded due to his being woken up by the Red Castle administration.
Al-Badri said, “I spoke with Hamdi Fathy three hours ago and he told me that he would be able to perform rehabilitative training after only 10 days.”
He concluded: “Kahraba was definitely among my accounts in the current camp, but his suspension from Al-Ahly caused him not to be included. It is not logical to include a player suspended from his club.”
