The Saudi Council of Ministers, in its meeting chaired by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, approved, via video call, the system for donating human organs.

The Saudi Minister of Information, Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi, explained that he took a number of decisions, namely:

First: To authorize the Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture – or his representative – to negotiate with the Uzbek side regarding a draft memorandum of understanding for cooperation in the field of veterinary and livestock development between the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the General Authority for the Development of Veterinary and Livestock in the Republic of Uzbekistan, and to sign it, And then upload the final signed copy, to complete the legal procedures.

Second: Approval of an agreement between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the World Tourism Organization regarding the establishment of a regional office for the World Tourism Organization in the Middle East, based in Riyadh.

Third: Approval of a protocol attached to a memorandum of cooperation between the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the government of Japan on the implementation of the Saudi-Japanese vision (2030).

Fourth: To authorize the Governor of the Central Bank of Saudi Arabia – or his representative – to negotiate with the Singaporean side regarding a draft cooperation agreement in the field of financial technology and innovation between the Saudi Central Bank in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Singapore Monetary Authority in the Republic of Singapore, and to sign it, and then upload the final signed copy , To complete the necessary statutory procedures.

Fifth: Approving the charter of establishing the Digital Cooperation Organization.

Sixth: Amending the name (The Royal Institute of Arts) in the National Strategy for Culture, issued by Cabinet Resolution No. (414) dated 7/19/1440 AH, to be (The Royal Institute of Traditional Arts), and approving its organizational arrangements.

Seventh: Approving the organizational arrangements for the National Commission for Education, Culture and Science.

Eighth: Approval of the human organ donation system.

Ninth: Sarah bint Jamaz bin Abdullah Al-Suhaimi was appointed as a member of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Arabian Airlines Corporation – a representative of the private sector.

Tenth: Approval of the abolition of the Articles of Association of the Patent Office of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, approved by Royal Decree No. (M / 3) dated 5/17/1415 AH.

Eleventh: Approving the final accounts of the King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy, the University of Najran, and Al-Baha University.

Twelfth: Approval of promotions and appointments to the (fifteenth) and (fourteenth) ranks, and appointments to a position (Minister Plenipotentiary), as follows:

Abdulmohsin bin Nayef bin Hashar bin Hamid is promoted to the position of Undersecretary of a region’s emirate (fifteenth) in the Emirate of Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah region.

Saud bin Abdulaziz bin Muhammad Al-Salamah is promoted to a position (security advisor) at the (fourteenth) rank at the Ministry of Interior.

– Promotion of Muhammad bin Abdullah bin Omar Al Al-Sheikh to the position of (Assistant Undersecretary for the Affairs of Mosques and Endowments) at the (fourteenth) rank at the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance.

Hamad bin Muhammad bin Fahd Al-Rumaih is promoted to a position (General Director of Human Resources Department) at the (fourteenth) rank at the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development.

Muhammad bin Saad bin Muhammad al-Bayz was appointed to the position of (Director General of Private Education) at the (fourteenth) rank at the Ministry of Education.

Ahmed bin Ibrahim bin Abdullah Al-Zuwairi is promoted to the position of Director General of the Office of the Minister of State (14th) rank at the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers.

Fahd bin Saeed bin Abdul Hadi Al-Haqbani is promoted to the position of Director General of Administrative and Financial Affairs at the (fourteenth) rank at King Abdulaziz Department.

Appointing the following to a position (Minister Plenipotentiary) at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs:

Mohammed bin Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Ajmi.
