Amr Al-Soulia, player of the national team, received the “Captain” badge from his colleague Ahmed Hegazy after he came out as a substitute for Tariq Hamed in the 62nd minute of the match being held between Egypt and Kenya in the capital, Nairobi, in the fifth round of the African Nations Cup qualifiers.

Comoros tops the Group G ranking with 9 points, followed by Egypt with 8 points, while Kenya is third with 3 points, and Togo comes fourth with two points.

The Egyptian national team did not lose in the qualifiers for the Nations Cup, after playing 4 matches, winning two and tied the same, to be at the top of the group on par with the Comoros with 8 points.

As for the Kenyan team, it ranks third in the group with 3 points, and needs to beat Egypt and Togo in their last two matches, and await the results of the competitors to achieve the hope of qualifying for the 2021 African Nations Cup..

Egypt needs a tie with any result to ensure formal qualification for the African Cup of Nations before going into the final round match against Comoros.
