According to websites interested in technology affairs, Apple is facing a new lawsuit over the MacBook.
According to the available information, the new class-action lawsuit filed against Apple includes the owners of old MacBook devices who suffered from problems with the keyboards of the butterfly or “butterfly” in their devices, and who belong to the states of New York, California, Washington, Michigan, Florida, Illinois and New Jersey.
The lawsuit includes people with keyboard issues with MacBooks sold between 2015 and 2017, MacBook Pro computers sold between 2016 and 2019, and MacBook Air computers sold between 2018 and 2019.
And Apple had faced a previous lawsuit over the aforementioned devices, as some owners of these computers claimed that the keyboards in their devices were suffering from major work problems due to the accumulation of dirt and dust particles under their keys.
For its part, Apple issued an official statement in 2019 and recognized these problems and indicated that “the reason behind them lies in the rubber membranes that were placed under the buttons of the keyboards, to protect them from dust and moisture, and to make the typing process smoother and less noisy.”
