The first football team of Al-Ahly club defeated the Al-Shabab team, 4-0, in the friendly match that took place this morning at Mukhtar Altech Stadium on the island.

The match witnessed the participation of Walid Suleiman in the starting line-up after his return from injury, while Pitso Musimani pushed a lineup that included Ali Lotfi, Badr Bannon, Saad Samir, Rami Rabia, Nasser Maher, Hussein Al-Shahat, Junior Ajay and Marwan Mohsen, with some youthful elements reinforced over the course of the match.

The youth team led by coach Amr Anwar scored the first goal in the 20th minute of a strong shot before Badr Bannon equalized two minutes later, and in the 28th minute Bannon scored the second goal.

In the 31st minute, Marwan Mohsen succeeded in adding the team’s third goal, and the outstanding performance between the two teams continued, ending the first half with this result. At the start of the second half, the technical staff paid each team several substitutions; To revive the lines and try more players, Ahmed Sayed Gharib scored the fourth goal of the first team in the 49th minute.

Badr Bannon’s goal, which he scored today, is completely similar to Gareth Bale’s goal, which he scored against Liverpool in the 2018 UEFA Champions League Final in Ukraine and ended with a hat-trick for the royal club.
