Barcelonas promising Spanish star Ansu Fati was crowned, today, Tuesday, the NXGN Award for 2021, which is awarded by the Goal global site for the best emerging player in the world in a list of 50 competitors.

The 18-year-old won the award this year, after he finished runner-up in the award last year, thanks to his brilliance with the first team in Barcelona since his first appearance in the 2019-2020 season when he played 33 matches and scored seven goals in all competitions.

Fati won the award despite having injured the left knee four months ago, which caused his participation during the current season in only 11 matches with the Catalan team.
