The judge explained in a statement that the crescent of the month of Ramadan is born immediately after the conjunction takes place at 4:31 a.m. local Cairo time, on Monday, 4/12/2021 AD (the day following the day of sighting).
He added that he notes that the new crescent will not have been born yet at sunset on Sunday 11/4/2021 AD (vision day) in all Arab and Islamic capitals and cities.
The institute stated that the last days of Ramadan for the year 1442 AH 2021 AD, will be Wednesday 12 May next, and that the number of Ramadan this year is 30 days, and the first day of Shawwal is May 13, 2021.
He explained that by this, Wednesday, May 12, will be the completion of the month of Ramadan, and the beginning of the month of Shawwal will be astronomically on Thursday, May 13 (the blessed Eid al-Fitr), and his prayer in Cairo is 5:28 in the morning.
