Egypt national team match against Kenya without an audience

The Football Association received assurances from its Kenyan counterpart that the two teams’ match would be held next Thursday in the fifth round of the African qualifiers for the African nations 2022 without an audience, as a commitment from the Kenyan side to the instructions of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), to implement precautionary measures in matches to prevent Corona virus.

The Football Association and the technical staff of the national team also received assurances from the Egyptian embassy in Kenya to disinfect and sterilize the Kasrani stadium, which hosts the match more than once, and it will be sterilized before the Pharaohs’ training tomorrow as well as before the match in order to preserve the safety of the players.

The Egyptian first team will head to the Kenyan capital, Nairobi, at 3 pm today, Tuesday, on a private plane, in preparation for the Kenya team next Thursday in the fifth round of the qualifiers for African nations 2022 in Cameroon.

The Pharaohs will play a match on Tuesday morning before traveling to Kenya, where the players will rest upon arrival in the capital, Nairobi, and the team will play a lonely match tomorrow at Kasrani Stadium, which is hosting the match.

Hossam El-Badry, the coach of the Egyptian national team, decided to accompany all the 28 players who were chosen to the camp of the month of March to Nairobi, to play the first match against Kenya, in anticipation of any injuries between the players at any time in light of the stress that controls most of them Because of the pressure of the league matches.

There is also a state of anxiety among the members of the technical apparatus due to the Corona swab that the Pharaohs will conduct in Kenya upon arrival, which threatens any player with exclusion, so the technical apparatus settled to accompany all the players to prevent any confusion in its accounts before confronting Kenya.
