FilGoal | News | A source in the Football Association explains to Joule the reason for the appearance of a Salah shirt without the sponsors of the national team

A source within the Egyptian Football Association stressed that the appearance of Mohamed Salah, the Liverpool star, in a shirt that does not carry the slogans of the sponsors of the national team, during his last training session, is unintended.

The source told “There are shirts bearing the sponsors’ logos, and shirts that do not carry them, and every player got shirts that carry logos or not, without discrimination.”

He explained, “The evidence for this is the appearance of Salah in training yesterday, Monday, in a shirt with the sponsors of the national team, and the appearance of other players in shirts without the slogans of the sponsors at training today.”

The Egyptian national team is preparing to meet Kenya and Comoros on Thursday and Monday in the 2021 African Nations Cup qualifiers.

Egypt tops Group G with 8 points, the same as the Comoros Islands, which are ranked second, while Kenya is ranked third with 3 points.

A draw against Kenya in any result is sufficient for Egypt to officially qualify for the African Nations Finals in Cameroon.
