This came within the framework of the fifth round of qualifiers for the 2021 African Nations Cup, which will be held in Cameroon for Group C.
The match goals were scored by Mohamed Abdel Rahman and Saif El Din Malek Bakhit in the 27th and 53rd minutes.
That victory raised the balance of Sudan to nine points, and they occupy third place in Group Three, equally with the second-placed South Africa team and Ghana, the leader.
The South African team faces Ghana on Thursday, and Sudan needs the team, nicknamed the Boys, to stumble before confronting them next Sunday in the last round.
Burkina Faso qualified
Burkina Faso guaranteed its qualification for the next edition after a goalless draw with its host Uganda in the Group Two competitions.
Meanwhile, the Malawi national team defeated its hosts South Sudan, with a goal by Richard Mbulu in the 47th minute.
With that result, the Burkina national team reached nine points, leading the group, followed by Uganda with eight points, Malawi, third with seven points, and finally South Sudan with three points.
The Burkina national team secured its qualification due to confronting Uganda and Malawi in the last round together, which makes one of them only nine points.
An important victory for Rwanda
Rwanda defeated Mozambique 1-0, scored by Lagoi Berengero in the 69th minute.
That victory raised the balance of Rwanda to five points, and they are ranked second in the group, 10 points behind the Cameroon national team.
Mozambique stuck at four points, even with Cape Verde.
Cameroon and Cape Verde will meet on Thursday.
And because of Cameroon’s lead in Group Six, only the second-place holder will qualify for the nations of Africa.
A great victory for Ethiopia
Ethiopia beat Madagascar four goals without a response in the Group 1 competitions.
The goals of the match were scored by Amanuel Gebrimichael in the 19th minute, and Gitaneh Gipito in the 34th minute.

The teams of Cote d’Ivoire and Niger will meet on Thursday.
