Afsha scored the first goal with a missile shot from inside the penalty area Two minutes before the age of the meeting.
This goal is the fastest for the Pharaohs in any match since a goal on behalf of Morsi against Chad in the second minute, also in the African Nations Cup qualifiers in September 2015.
The match, technically managed by Hector Cuper, ended with the Pharaohs winning 5-1 and Morsi scored a hat-trick, while Mohamed Salah and Mahmoud Kahraba scored two other goals.
Afsha became Egypt’s top scorer in the current qualifiers, with two goals, after his goal in the last round against Togo.
No player had scored more than one goal for Egypt during the past four matches.
A tie with any result is sufficient for Egypt to formally qualify for the African Cup of Nations before entering the final round match against Comoros.
