Hossam Al-Badri, the Egypt coach, included 4 guards for the current Pharaohs camp, namely Muhammad Al-Shennawi, Mahmoud Abdel-Rahim “Jensh”, Muhammad Bassam and Amer Amer.
“The guards chosen by the national team are all excellent,” Nagy said on Ontime Sports.
Then he added, “But I saw the joining of Hani Suleiman and Muhammad Abu Jabal.”
He concluded, “I respect their choices. When I was in the national team, I did not like anyone to interfere in my choices.”
Egypt is preparing to face Kenya and Comoros on March 25 and 29, respectively, in the 2021 African Cup qualifiers.
The Pharaohs are guests of Kenya, and then they will host the Comoros Islands in Egypt.
Egypt leads its group in the qualifiers with 8 points and is better on goal difference than the Comoros Islands.
While Kenya ranks third with a score of 3 points, and Togo is bottom of the group’s standings with a point balance.
The group’s champion and runner-up qualifies for the 2021 African Cup, to be hosted by Cameroon.
