Bayern Munich chief executive Karl Hans Rummenigge denied reports linking his club to the possibility of Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland next summer.

Several big clubs are seeking to sign Haaland, who is one of Europe’s most prominent young talents.

“I do not announce where such rumors are coming from,” Rummenigge said in statements published in the Bild newspaper.

“I can only say that Bayern includes among its ranks one of the world’s leading strikers, Robert Lewandowski,” he added.

And he completed “Lewandowski’s contract with Bayern until 2023.”

The Polish star led his team to 6 championships in the past year and won the award for the best player in the world.

Former Bayern Munich scorer Gerd Muller is on the list with 365 goals.
