In statements to the official website of the Zamalek club, Carteron said that he has not requested the inclusion of players yet, but he has a strategy that he will implement next season according to the circumstances and he is happy with the current group.
Zamalek’s coach also stressed the team’s association with important matches in the coming period, and there is no talk of deals in the current period, because it is still early before the upcoming summer transfer period.
Carteron continued: “The level of teams in the Egyptian League has improved a lot in the past period, and everyone is doing well.”
He added, “The level of players in Saudi Arabia is better because there are 7 professionals, but the Egyptian League is the strongest league in Africa.”
“Zamalek is required to win its next league matches and not to waste any points, and the journey is still long, especially since the competitor has postponed matches,” he noted.
“The technical staff is keen to prepare the players in the current period for the April matches, due to the pressure of the matches,” he concluded.
