Zamalek defeated the Olympic club, 39-31, after Al-Abyad advanced 20-12 in the first half.
As for Al-Ahly, they beat Heliopolis 32-30, after Al-Ahmar outpaced Al-Ahmar in the first half, 18-13.
Zamalek raised its score to 28 points at the top of the standings, and Al-Ahly reached 28 points as well, but the preference is for white because of direct confrontations.
The tenth round matches will be held on Friday, with 5 games remaining until the end.
Zamalek plays against the Sporting team, while Al-Ahly faces the Talaia Al-Jaysh team.
The final stage of the handball tournament will be held between 8 clubs with a home-and-away system.
