Tanta coach Hassan Moussa announced his resignation from his post due to the financial crisis that the club is going through and all players refused to train.

Hassan Moussa told FilGoal.com, saying: “I submitted my resignation due to the financial crisis and the failure to implement my promises.”

He continued, “Today I went to see the team and found all the players refused to train, carried their bags and left and told me we will not train, so I carried my bags too and left.”

And he added, “For a month, we have received many promises from the administration without being implemented.”

Hassan Moussa continued his speech, “The players have 40% of the contract provider who have not been disbursed, and bonuses after achieving 3 victories, and the technical staff has two months’ dues.”

And he continued, “I promised the players yesterday to go into training and then get their dues. We have an important match on Friday with Petrojet, but the promises from the board of directors have not been implemented, and all the players have confirmed to me that they went into training yesterday because of my promise to them.”

Musa concluded his speech by saying: “We have scored 11 points out of 3 wins, two draws and a defeat since I assumed responsibility.”

Tanta occupies the 14th place in the ranking table with 18 points.
