When asked whether he would accept the highest offer if Al-Ahly and Zamalek requested it, Hafez, 25, responded via Ontime Sports Channel: “I will choose the first, not the largest contract.”
Hafez, who is in his third season in the Turkish League, explained that Mustafa Muhammad, a Galatasaray player, was wanted in Turkey two years ago.
“When I was in Qasim Pasha, the club asked me about Mustafa Mohamed. They wanted him before the African Cup for players under 23 years old in 2019,” he added.
Mustafa joined Galatasaray last January and has so far participated in 9 matches with the team, scoring 6 goals.
While Hafez played in Al-Ahly and the Tigris Valley before starting his career in Europe from the Omonia Cypriot gateway in 2015.
Hafez wore the shirts of Belgian Lyres, Lance the French, Basaksehir and Qasim Pasha of Turkey, and moved to Malatyspor in January 2020.
He represented the Egyptian national team in 7 international matches and was among the Pharaohs’ list in the 2017 African Cup.
He has not joined the Pharaohs list since 2019.
