Osama Nabih, the general coach of Zamalek, explained the fact that he prepared a memorandum against the Tunisian Hamza Mathlouthi and presented it to the administration due to his failure to return to Cairo.
Nabih said in exclusive statements to the official website: “I have not submitted any warrant against Mathlouthi, and the player will arrive in Cairo tomorrow, Thursday, due to his own circumstances.”
He explained, “I am upset with the rumors that are being raised about Zamalek, and I ask everyone to check accuracy before writing any news about the team.”
The Tunisian right-back was not on the Carthage Eagles’ list for the matches against Libya and Equatorial Guinea in the 2022 African Cup of Nations qualifiers.
Since joining Zamalek, the 28-year-old Mathlouthi has played 5 matches in the Egyptian League and the Champions League without registering or making.
The team is preparing to meet Mouloudia Algeria, scheduled for next April 3, in Algeria, in the fifth round of the group stage matches of the African Champions League.
