Raouf Abdel Qader, Director of Sports Activity at Al-Ahly Club, decided to fine Hana Joudeh and Maryam Al-Hudhaibi, two table tennis players.
And Abdel Qader revealed, through the official Al-Ahly website, that 10 thousand pounds had been signed and that a strong warning was issued to them after what they had happened.
The director of Al-Ahly sports activity indicated that the decision came after referring to Mahmoud Al-Khatib, the club’s president, and in light of the investigation that took place with the two players today, Wednesday.
The penalty comes after the duo spoke on social media inappropriately, inconsistent with the club’s policy and principles, according to the club’s official website.
The Director of Al-Ahly Sports Activity stressed that the penalty was lightened on the two players due to their young age and that they committed this mistake for the first time.
Hana Judeh had published a statement on its official page calling on Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Sports and the Olympic Committee, to participate in the Tokyo Olympics.
Maryam Al-Hudhaibi responded with another statement calling for her to participate in the Tokyo Olympics because of her participation in the African Games qualifying for the Olympiad with her colleagues, in which she did not participate here in quality because she is not internationally ranked at the level of women.
