The report indicated that Igli Tari, the sports director of Lazio, asked the officials to contact Galatasaray to discuss the possibility of concluding an exchange deal between Mustafa Mohamed and Kosovar striker Vedat Morici.
The report added that Morichi was on Galatasaray’s radar earlier while starring in the Rezaspor shirt, but eventually moved on to rival Fenerbahce.
Morichi joined Lazio last summer for 18.5 million euros.
According to Italian newspaper reports, Lazio is considering selling him his striker, who scored two goals and scored in 25 matches this season.
Mustafa Muhammad’s brilliance attracted attention soon after, with Galatasaray, scoring 5 goals and assorting one goal in 8 matches.
Mustafa Mohamed plays on loan from Zamalek for a season and a half, and Galatasaray is entitled to receive his services permanently if he pays 4 million euros.
