Dr. Mohamed Maait, Minister of Finance, approved the dates for the payment of salaries of state employees for the months of April and May 2021, as the ministries, agencies and their affiliated bodies were divided so that the disbursement dates reached five days, according to a statement from the Ministry of Finance today, Wednesday.
The ministry said that the entitlements of workers in each of these ministries and agencies will be made available in automated teller machines, according to the dates announced in the electronic financial system, starting from April 26 and May 23, 2021.
The Ministry called upon the administrative authorities to notify their employees of the date of the start of the disbursement. In a way that contributes to reducing crowding at ATMs as much as possible, in a manner that is consistent with the efforts made by the state to reduce gatherings, take all possible precautionary measures and strengthen ways to combat the emerging corona virus, and help facilitate the citizens and reduce the burden on their shoulders.
Tariq Bassiouni, head of the accounts and financial directorates sector at the Ministry of Finance, said that specific disbursement dates have been set for the salaries of April and May 2021 for each ministry or agency and its affiliated bodies, taking into account the number of its employees and its affiliated directorates in the governorates.
He added that it was decided to start disbursing the salaries of April for workers in 33 ministries and agencies on April 26, then start disbursing the salaries of 20 ministries and authorities on April 27, then start disbursing the salaries of 13 ministries and agencies on April 28, and all ministries and other bodies on April 29.
Bassiouni stated that it was decided to start disbursing salaries for the month of May to workers in 33 ministries and agencies on May 23, then start disbursing the salaries of 20 ministries and authorities on May 24, then start disbursing the salaries of 13 ministries and agencies on May 25, and all ministries and other bodies on May 26 and 27.
Bassiouni called on workers in the administrative authorities not to compete on automatic teller machines, especially that salaries will be available at any time from the date of the start of the disbursement specified for each ministry or authority, and then it is not necessary to compete with those machines and take into account the precautionary measures to limit the spread of the new Corona virus.
