Antoine Griezmann led France to a 1-0 victory over Bosnia and Herzegovina, today, Wednesday, in the third round of Group D of European qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Griezmann scored the match’s only goal in the 60th minute.
With this victory, the balance of the French national team, the World Cup champion in the last edition in Russia 2018, brings the balance of the national team to seven points at the top of the group standings, while the balance of the Bosnian national team is frozen at one point in fourth place before the last.
In another match in the same group, the Ukrainian team, second in the standings, fell to a 1/1 draw with its guest, Kazakhstan.
The Ukrainian team advanced through Roman Yaremchuk in the 20th minute, before Serekzan Muzikov scored the equalizer for Kazakhstan in the 59th minute.
The Ukrainian team raised its score to three points in second place, while the Kazakhstan team won the first point in its qualifying campaign, and is ranked fifth and last in the standings.
