Guinea and Burkina Faso joined the teams that qualified for the African Nations Cup finals to be held in Cameroon, after playing the matches of the fifth round of the qualifiers.
Guinea managed to qualify thanks to a 1-0 victory over Mali, who had already qualified after the match before.
Guinea has scored 11 points and has a final match with Namibia, which has only 6 points, while the Malian team has 13 points at the top.
Burkina Faso also qualified for the finals of the African Nations thanks to a 0-0 draw with Uganda on Wednesday, which guarantees that it will ascend, whether in first or second place.
Despite the fact that the difference between Burkina Faso and Malawi, third in the group’s ranking, is only two points, but Ugandas second-ranking match in its last match with Malawi ensures that the two teams together do not surpass Burkina Faso.
Burkina Faso and Guinea joined according to today’s results of the teams that preceded them to qualify, Algeria, the leader of Group H with 10 points, Senegal, who achieved the full score from 4 games in Group Nine, and Tunisia in Group X, which has 10 points.
And organized the six teams to Cameroon, the country that is running the qualifiers only in order to prepare to participate in the tournament that will be organized on its territory.
