The Turkish police in Istanbul arrested the thief who stole the player’s handbag, Mustafa Mohamed, the striker of the Egyptian national team and the Turkish club Galatasaray several days ago.
Mustafa Mohamed, who plays for the Turkish club on loan from the Egyptian club Zamalek, was exposed to theft while shopping at the Istinye Park Center in Istanbul.
The thief stole the bag of the Egyptian attacker, which contained his passport and wallet.
The Turkish police, according to what Turkish newspaper “Al-Sabah” reported, investigated what happened with the Egyptian player, through surveillance cameras at the place, which showed how the thief carried out his crime.
The cameras showed the moment the thief sat and took advantage of Mustafa Muhammad’s preoccupation with talking to one of his friends, then seizing the attacker’s handbag.
