Coronavirus: The British Prime Minister raises controversy by linking the success of the vaccination campaign to “greed” and “capitalism”
British Prime Minister Boris Johnson caused controversy after he told members of parliament of his conservative party that the country is witnessing a rapid and effective Corona virus vaccination campaign due to “capitalism” and greed.
However, informed sources said that the prime minister strongly recanted his comments made during a videoconference with his party’s lawmakers.
More than half of the adults in Britain had received the first dose of the Corona vaccine, at a time when vaccination rates in the European Union are proceeding at a slow pace.
