Books – Omar Qura:

The Egyptian national team is preparing to reappear under the leadership of Hossam El-Badry and his auxiliary apparatus, when the national team will visit Kenya in Nairobi in the fifth round of Group G in the qualifiers for the African Nations Cup in Cameroon next January.

The Egyptian team tops its group with 8 points, equal to the Comoros national team and the runners-up of the group, to weight the goals of the Pharaohs, while the Kenyan team comes third in the group with 3 points, then the Togo team is at the bottom of the group with one point.

The national team will play against its Kenyan counterpart at exactly six oclock in the evening next Thursday, before returning to Egypt to face the Comoros at the end of the African qualifiers next Monday, and it is enough for the team to score at least one point to ensure formal qualification for the Nations Cup.

Hosam Al-Badri, the coach of the national team, previously announced the application of the seniority system to choose whoever carries the leadership badge in the ranks of the Egyptian national team, which makes Amr Al-Sulaia in first place in the order, in light of the exclusion of Ahmed Fathi and the absence of Abdullah Al-Saeed for injury.

And it comes second behind Al-Sulaya in the ranking of the national team leadership badge in the current camp according to seniority, Ahmed Hegazy, followed by Muhammad Al-Nani and Muhammad Salah fourth, then Omar Jaber, Tariq Hamed, Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet, Ali Jabr, Ayman Ashraf and goalkeeper Muhammad Al-Shennawi in tenth place.

Ahmed Hegazy wore the captaincy of the national team in the last match against Togo, after Abdullah Al-Saeed, the captain of the national team, was excluded from the main squad, while Al-Saeed was the captain of the national team during the camp and wore the badge in the Togo match that was held in the third round in Egypt.

In the event that Amr Al-Sulayyah is absent from the basic formation, Hegazy will remain the captain of the Egyptian national team against Kenya, but the defender of the Saudi Jeddah Federation may be outside the team’s list against the Comoros Islands in the last round in Egypt, in light of the restrictions imposed by the Corona virus in Saudi Arabia.

Consequently, Salah may come in third place in the order of the leadership badge behind Al-Sulayyah and Al-Nini in the face of the Comoros if Hegazy is not able to reach Egypt.
