Mohamed Ibrahim: The national team shirt is big … and keeping away from it is a painful thing


Mohamed Ibrahim, the playmaker of Ceramica Cleopatra, tweeted on his personal “Twitter” page today, Wednesday, a new message about the Egyptian national team.

The former Zamalek player wrote: “The Egyptian national team shirt is big and expensive, it is an honor for anyone to wear it and stay away from the national team is something that saddens anyone.”

He continued: “All the best for our national team and my colleagues in the current period, may God grant them success and our joy in achieving the goal of qualifying for the nations of Africa.”

The Egyptian national team is currently preparing to face its Kenyan counterpart next Thursday in the fifth round of qualifying matches for the Nations Cup in Cameroon.

The Egyptian team is at the top of Group G with 8 points, equal with the Comoros national team, on the other hand, Kenya ranks third with three points, and finally the Togo team with a point.
