Ahmed Nagy, former Egyptian goalkeeper coach and current Samouha, said that former Pharaohs goalkeeper Essam El Hadary was “sick” with training, adding that Sherif Ikrami, the current Pyramids goalkeeper, came out of Al-Ahly through Al-Bab Al-Kabir.
During statements to the “B On Time” program broadcast on the “On Time Sports” channel, Naji said: “Al-Hadari is a guard who is sick with training, and has a mental illness with training.”
He added, “Sometimes he woke me up to go to some exercises, for sure I was lucky to train him as well.”
And on the authority of Sherif Ikrami, the goalkeeper of Pyramids, he said: “Sherif left Al-Ahly through the big door. He did not cause crises.”
He continued: “A difficult decision, I do not know how he made it, he is a great goalkeeper with a personality that enables him to make decisions.”
He concluded: “I think that his decision was correct. He is currently playing mainly with two big players, such as Mahdi Suleiman and Ahmed Al-Shenawi.”
