Osama Nabih, general coach in the Zamalek football team, confirmed that the current period has not witnessed the reopening of negotiations with Tunisian player Ferjani Sassi to renew his contract.
Nabih added, in statements on the official website of Zamalek, on Thursday, that everything that was discussed regarding Sassi’s contract renewal or his departure is unfounded.
The general coach of Zamalek club added that Sassi’s focus is only in the team’s matches during the coming period, stressing that we have not entered into negotiations again in negotiations with the player.
Nabih indicated during his statements that the committee in charge of managing Zamalek will open the renewal file with Ferjani Sassi at the appropriate time, in order to preserve the player’s focus in his team’s matches at the present time.
Sassi’s contract with Zamalek is due to expire at the end of the current season, as the player has the right to sign for another club since the last winter transfer market.
Sassi had received an offer from the Qatari club Al-Duhail to obtain his services last January, but the Zamalek management refused to abandon the player’s services.
