Lieutenant General Osama Rabie, head of the Suez Canal Authority, said that the authority will study compensation and will mostly implement it, pointing to its careful study, especially that not everyone will get equal rates.
He added during a press conference, on Monday evening, that the new Suez Canal has been well studied and has been operating for 6 years, referring to the study of its economic cost and feasibility and the feasibility of complete duplication of the Suez Canal and the removal of hard, rocky soil in the Suez Canal.
The Suez Canal Authority succeeded, Monday afternoon, in floating the delinquent vessel “Ever Giffen” and entering the shipping course of the canal.
