Shukri Al-Waer revealed the legend of Tunisian goalkeeping and former Esperance player, that “Bab Souika” will not neglect the services of its Libyan international player, Hamdo Al-Huni, in favor of Al-Ahly.
Al-Waer added, in statements on MBC Egypt, “Modern football is buying and selling, but Hamdou Al-Houni is comfortable with Esperance and the player renewed his contract with the club.”
He continued: “Al-Huni is a great player and can play with any team. It is difficult for Esperance to overdo the player, but everything is possible.”
He continued: “Esperance received many offers about its players, but the club is not ready to give up any player and is not ready to sell the Huni because of the competition for the African Champions League title.”
He ended: “I see Esperance, Sundowns, Al-Ahly and Wydad are the most prominent clubs in the competition for the African title this season.”
Al-Huni participated with Esperance this season by 14 matches, in which he scored three goals and made two decisive goals.
