Ayman Taher, the goalkeeper of Egypt’s first national football team, revealed the details of the exit of Mohamed El-Shenawy, the first goalkeeper of the Pharaohs, between the two rounds of the Al-Maqar Islands match that was held between them yesterday at Cairo Stadium as part of the last round of the qualifying matches for the African Nations Championship.Ayman Taher said in radio statements : “Mohamed El-Shenawy felt light pains in yesterday’s match, after the end of the first half, and the goalkeeper informed the Egyptian national team, and immediately Hossam El-Badry, the technical director of the Egyptian national team, decided to rest him and defend Mahmoud Gensh, not to aggravate his injury, especially since the remaining time of the match was easy as a result of progress in the half The first with four goals without a response.

He added: “El-Shennawy will undergo a medical examination in the coming hours inside the Al-Ahly club to find out the size of the injury, which is likely to be minor, especially after the Egyptian team’s technical apparatus is preferred to rest and replace it.”
