“It is with great regret that I acknowledge a statement regarding the termination of my job as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Calvani, I have the utmost respect for my colleagues and I am horrified that my actions put a former colleague in an uncomfortable position. I would like to apologize without reservation to the employee concerned, and I deeply regret any embarrassment I caused “.
He said, “I would also like to apologize to my wife and family for the pain this causes. I will work hard to extricate myself with all those affected by this situation. I will take leave from my current professional responsibilities, in effect immediately, to focus on my family’s affairs.”
And Galvani Bioelectronics announced, on Wednesday, that it expelled the expert Moncef El-Salawi from its board of directors, due to its involvement in sexual harassment and inappropriate behavior.
The company said that the decision to expel Al-Salawi came after the company “GSK” received a letter containing allegations of sexual harassment and inappropriate behavior years ago at its headquarters by Dr. Al-Salawi.
