The father of the two girls accused the victims of the gas leak in Shubra al-Khaimah and accused his wife of adultery, and wrote a statement in which he indicated that a stranger was inside his apartment at the time of the accident.
The investigations of the security services revealed that the mother of the two girls was accompanied by a friend of her in the apartment at the time of the gas leak, which led to the death of the two girls, and the accused and his mistress suffocated and were subsequently transferred to the hospital.
The Public Prosecution office ordered the accused to be detained for 4 days pending investigations, and inquiring about the health status of the mother of the two girls for investigation.
Major General Hatem Al-Haddad, Director of the Qalubia Investigation Department, received a notification from Brigadier General Ahmed Al-Duqmiri, the superintendent of the second division of Shubra Al-Khaimah, of the death of the two girls, Mona A., 8 years old, and her sister, Miral A., 6 years old, after they suffocated inside their residence in the department of the second section of Shubra.
