The former Zamalek goalkeeper coach explains how Pacheco decided to involve Jensh

Amr Abdel Salam, the former coach of Zamalek goalkeepers, explained how Jaime Pacheco, the former coach of the team, decided to rely on Mahmoud Abdel Rahim “Jensh”, instead of Muhammad Abu Jabal.

“In the year and a half that I worked with Zamalek Club, the three guards were at the highest level of commitment to discipline and they abided by all the directives that I demand of them,” Abdel Salam said in his statements to Al-Nahar satellite channel.

As for the crisis that occurred between Jensh and Abu Jabal, he said: “My personal opinion was that there was a direct tendency to create confusion among the goalkeepers in Zamalek, because all that was said from the guards could have taken a simpler form than what happened, but the social media sparked the matter.” .

And he went on to talk about the atmosphere of relying on Jensh instead of Abu Jabal: “What happened was that during basic training in Senegal, Pacheco came while I was leading the guards’ training and took my opinion that Jensh deserved to have the opportunity to play a basic game against Toungit in Senegal, and he was really a decision-maker to play Jensh I told him he was really hard at training. ”

He continued: “I took the responsibility to inform Abu Jabal about the matter, and he was upset, but I told him that it is better to get a rest after the last matches he played.”

In response to the rumors about losing the sentencing for the players, he said: “There has never been any passage by the players towards Pacheco in the locker rooms.”
