Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, said that the decisions issued yesterday by the Supreme Committee to manage the Corona crisis aim to achieve a balance between two matters, namely preserving the maximum health and safety of citizens, and at the same time the continuation of the wheel of the economy in circulation and not stopping it, so as not to The different sectors of the country are affected, so that this does not negatively affect the incomes of citizens due to these negative repercussions.
The Prime Minister stressed the need for all ministries and the various agencies in the country to continue implementing all precautionary and preventive measures taken to combat the spread of the Coronavirus, provided that the concerned authorities apply the fines decided on violators decisively and without complacency, in order to preserve the lives of citizens.
For her part, Dr. Hala Zayed, Minister of Health and Population, drew attention to the need to continue adhering to the precautionary measures, on the grounds that the diligence in applying them had a significant positive impact on the decrease in the number of infections with the Coronavirus, which calls for more care, while continuing to apply these measures .
The Minister of Health renewed the reference to a number of recommendations related to safe practices for citizens during the month of Ramadan to limit the spread of the Corona virus, and the importance of abandoning some of the customary habits during this holy month, which can lead to high infection rates, and also recommended the necessity of adhering to safe distances between People when going to places of worship, while organizing their entry and exit from them, as well as periodically disinfecting these places with disinfectants, closing all water coolers in them, in addition to the necessity to wear a muzzle and not to accompany children, and she also advised the elderly and people with chronic diseases to pray at home.
