The Zamalek striker scores two goals in Tunisias sweep of Libya


The Tunisian national team defeated its Libyan host 5/2, in the fifth round of the tenth group of African Nations Cup qualifiers to be held in Cameroon early next year, for which Equatorial Guinea qualified from the same group, after beating its guest Tanzania 1/0 .

The Tunisian team strengthened its lead in the group with 13 points, as it had qualified for the finals earlier in the qualifiers, while the balance of the Libyan national team stuck at three points in fourth and last place in the group.

The Libyan team advanced through Moayad Al-Lafi in the 21st minute, before Elias Skhiri scored the equalizer for the Tunisian team in the 39th minute.

In the 48th minute, Saif El Din Al Jaziri, the Zamalek striker, added the second goal for Tunisia, before Mohamed Drager scored the third goal in the 51st minute, to return the Libyan national team through Al Lafi in the 54th minute.

Anis Benslimane scored the fourth goal in the 84th minute, before Jaziri added his second and fifth goal for Tunisia in the last minute of normal time.

In another match, Equatorial Guinea guaranteed its qualification for the finals, beating Tanzania 1-0.

Emilio Nso scored the only goal of the match for Equatorial Guinea in the 89th minute.

Equatorial Guinea raised its score to nine points in second place to ensure its official qualification for the finals, while Tanzania stuck at four points in third place.
