A statement issued by the Council of Ministers said that Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, the Prime Minister, for the second time within one week, followed the arrangements for conducting the general secondary examinations for this year, in a meeting held in the presence of Dr. Tariq Shawky, Minister of Education and Technical Education, and Dr. Amr Talaat, Minister of Communications And information technology, and officials from the two ministries and relevant authorities.

The Prime Minister stressed keenness to intensify holding meetings to follow up on this matter, so that we are ready with all preparations before conducting the first experimental exam, which will be held with the same procedures followed in the official exam, stressing that there will be a careful follow-up of the results of this pilot exam, in order to test the system.

During the meeting, the Minister of Education presented the results of a meeting that was held regarding preparations for the high school exam, in the presence of officials from the two ministries and a number of agencies, pointing out that the meeting witnessed discussion of technical solutions related to devices and lines of connection with the Knowledge Bank, and ways to ensure that the speeds of the connection lines for schools are appropriate, as well as Provide the appropriate speeds through the exchanges.

The minister added that the meeting dealt with studying the efficiency of using student segments during the exams, finding solutions to all problems, the efficiency of accommodating private cloud computing for the exam platform for all students, studying the need to increase the speed of the Internet, reviewing internal networks and paths from servers in schools to connecting to cloud computing.

Dr. Tariq Shawky confirmed that all the details were agreed upon, and during the next week a time plan will be presented to the Prime Minister for implementation, specifying all the tasks and responsibilities, pointing out that it was agreed to conduct experiments to test students’ tests, twice in April and May, from inside schools to study the efficiency Networks and student segments, with the aim of testing the system, identifying problems and solving them in preparation for pilot tests in June as simulations for the final exams.

For his part, the Minister of Communications confirmed that a meeting had been held with the work teams, and the responsibilities and role of each party were defined, indicating that 3 alternatives had been put in place in order to ensure that every student could easily and easily perform the exam.
