A TV reporter faced an embarrassing situation after the Egyptian artist Mohi Ismail described him as “idiot”. The reporter asked the great artist about his “behavior, which some describe as insane”, to quickly respond: “You are the most insane about you … you know how to ask.” This came on the sidelines of the Festival Luxor for African Cinema.
Ismail interrupted a reporter after being asked about his “behavior, which some describe as insane,” to quickly respond: “You are the most foolish person … You know how to ask.”
Ismail added that all the artists of the world were described as crazy, but they were “rational in their art,” he said.
The Egyptian artist assured that he accepts criticism and learns from it if there is “someone who teaches it.”
It is noteworthy that the Luxor Festival for African Cinema is held from 26 to 31 March, headed by the great Egyptian actor Mahmoud Hamida, and organized by the Independent Young Artists Foundation with the patronage and support of the Ministry of Culture and support from the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, Dr. Khaled Anani, Ambassador Hamdi Lozah, Luxor Governorate and the Syndicate of Filmmakers .
