The pioneers of social media circulated a rare photo of the artist Farid Al-Atrash and his sister, the artist Asmahan, accompanied by their mother, Mrs. Alia Al-Mundhir.
It is noteworthy that Farid al-Atrash and Asmahan come from an ancient family in Jabal al-Arab – or the Druze – in southern Syria, to their father Fahd al-Atrash and their mother, Princess Alya al-Mundhir, who also had a sweet voice that her people used to sing.
