An event that the whole world awaits, the countdown to which has begun is the “Parade of Royal Mummies”, as the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities is launching a promotional film with the participation of a large number of Egyptian artists, the most important of whom are the great artist Hussein Fahmy, Amina Khalil and Asir Yassin.

The film contains exclusive content on the date of the 22nd Royal mummyIt will be transported in a distinguished and majestic legendary procession and will roam all the streets of Cairo from the Egyptian Museum, and it will be in liberation to the place of its permanent display in the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization in the Fustat region, which will be next Saturday, April 3, 2021.

It is also worth noting that the film will shed many lights on the exclusive footage that is on the history of the entire Egyptian Museum, and will be in Tahrir and the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, as well as its most important unique and distinctive archaeological holdings that are pleasing to the attention.

It is also mentioned that the Museum of Civilization receives during the next few days the mummies from the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir, through a majestic procession befitting our great ancestors, and there are 22 royal mummies dating back to the ages of 17, 18, 19 and 20 families, including 18 mummies for kings and 4 mummies for queens .

Also among them are the mummy of King Ramses II, King Seknen Ra and King Thutmose III, as well as King Siti the First, Queen Hatshepsut, Queen Ahmose Nefertari, and Queen Mert Amon, wife of King Amenhotep the First.
