Zamalek receives a strong shock before facing MCA

Zamalek’s coaching staff, led by French Patrice Carteron, received a strong shock before the upcoming confrontation with Mouloudia Algeria, in the fifth round of the group stage of the African Champions League.

Ahmed Sayed Zizou, Zamalek winger, suffered a back injury while he was in the Egyptian national team camp for the Kenya and Comoros matches, which reduces his likelihood of participating in the upcoming Mouloudia match scheduled for April 3.

Hossam Al-Badri, coach of the Egyptian national team, confirmed that the player was asked to leave the national camp after feeling pain in the back, but the latter refused and insisted on continuing with the Pharaohs until the completion of the Comoros match.

The MCA match is important for Zamalek, as the white team needs to win it, then beat Senegalese Tongeth, and the Algerian team’s loss against Esperance, to determine its qualification for the quarter-finals of the African Champions League.

Zamalek is ranked third in the ranking of its African group with two points, behind leaders Esperance with 10 points, and Mouloudia Algeria is second with 8 points, and Tuncheth is bottom with one point.
