22 workers were injured in an accident involving a container on a bus on the Suez-Ain Sokhna road, and ambulances rushed to transfer the injured to Suez General Hospital.
Major General Mohamed El Alfy, Director of Suez Security, had received notification of an accident involving a container overturning a truck on a labor bus on the Suez-Ain Sokhna road.
Dr. Mohamed Tantawy, head of the ambulance facility in Suez, directed 20 ambulances to the site of the accident to transport the injured to the Suez General Hospital.
A medical source in Suez said that the directorate has raised the state of emergency in all hospitals, especially Suez General Hospital, to receive the injured, pointing out that the initial count is 22 injured.
The source added that the directorate decided to call doctors and open operating rooms for critical cases that need surgical intervention.
