Six cars detached from the 82nd train heading from Cairo to Aswan early Friday morning, without injuries or casualties.
Assiut Governorate had received notification from the Crisis and Disaster Operations Room that 6 cars had been disconnected from Train No. 82 heading from Cairo to Aswan, while it was walking at the village of Manqabad of the Assiut Center at 3:30 in the morning.
Engineer Nabil Al-Tibi, Assistant Secretary General of Assiut, accompanied by the Civil Defense, Rescue and Ambulance Forces, and the police forces, called a tractor from the Assiut station, and pulled separate vehicles and connected them to the aforementioned train without any casualties.
Al-Tibi said that the train traffic was not affected by the incident, and the average delay did not exceed one hour.
A report on the incident was edited and measures were taken to avoid any similar events.
