Amir Abdulaziz, a former member of Patrice Carteron’s technical staff, stated, in his first term, that the Frenchman was deported due to an unsuccessful response from Amir Mortada Mansour regarding his dues, and he also expected the team to achieve a triple-league, the Champions League and the Cup.

In his statements to “On Time Sports” satellite channel, Abdulaziz said: “The last period before his resignation he talked to me about his position and said that he does not feel comfortable and spoke with Amir Mortada about the new contract provider and he got a response that was not successful.”

And he continued: “Carteron always said that he had offers to leave, and he did not feel comfortable because of the mechanism of work in the ranks of the team during the recent period.”

He talked about the team’s future, saying: “I expect that Zamalek will compete in the current season for the league and will win the title by 60% in the current group and in the presence of Carteron.”

He added, “If Zamalek qualifies, it will reach the final, and I expect the second party to be Sundowns .. If Zamalek does not qualify for the final, Sundowns will be the champion because of the experiences the club has in the tournament.”

And he talked about his expectations at the level of tournaments this season, saying: “Zamalek can achieve the triple during the current season.”
