Jadon Sancho, the German winger of Borussia Dortmund, objected to the ruling of his team’s confrontation with Manchester City in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals, after his team was denied a goal.
Sancho, who missed the match due to injury, expressed his displeasure through his account on the social networking site “Twitter” with a tweet: “It seems that the referee needs to be examined.”
This Ref needs checking! 🤦🏽♂️

Dortmund player Jude Bellingham scored during the match 10 minutes before the end of the first half, after he snatched the ball from Ederson, the City goalkeeper, in the air before kicking it into the empty goal.
But the referee decided to cancel the goal and award a free kick in favor of the Brazilian goalkeeper, and video technology was not used, because the referee made his decision before the ball entered the net.
Dortmund lost the match 1-2, as Kevin de Bruyne and Phil Foden scored for City, while Marco Reus scored the German team’s goal.
Dortmund needs to win an unanswered goal over City in the return leg of April 14th in order to qualify for the semi-finals of the continental competition.
