Mohamed Moselhy, President of Al Ittihad of Alexandria, confirmed that Razak Cisse’s next season is the last in his contract with Zamalek.
Cisse plays on loan from Zamalek for Al-Ittihad club of Alexandria, until the end of the current season.
Meselhi said in televised statements to Ontime Sports, that Zamalek did not specify Cisse’s position on returning to him next season, wishing to continue with the Alexandrian team.
And about the competition for the league title, Meselhi said: “The season is difficult for all league clubs, I am realistic, we aim to be in the golden square.
He continued: “We tied in front of El Mahalla and lost from Enppi and Aswan in Alexandria … If we had achieved positive results in those matches, we would have been at the top of the league.”
Al-Ittihad is in second place in the league table, after winning at the expense of the Arab Contractors, with four goals to two.
He added: “The competition for the league needs special conditions and capabilities. We used to say that whoever wins the third place behind Al-Ahly and Zamalek is as if he won the league,”
There are material elements that affect the competition in the league, the highest player in Al-Ittihad gets 3 million pounds, while his colleague in Al-Ahly and Zamalek gets 15 to 20 million pounds
He concluded: “Mr. Salem’s contract has been renewed before the Arab Contractors match, and the details will be officially announced on the official website soon. We hope that he will join the team for his outstanding performance this season, and the majority of the players hold contracts for at least two seasons.”
