Journalist Mustafa Bakri mourned Dr. Kamal Al-Ganzouri, a former prime minister who passed away yesterday at the age of 88 after a struggle with illness.

Bakri said, during his presentation of the “Facts and Secrets” program broadcast on the “Sada Al-Balad” channel today, Thursday, that Al-Ganzouri was an honorable and honest man, and that what saddened him was the boycott that occurred to him after his removal from the premiership during the rule of the late President Muhammad Hosni Mubarak, pointing out that He was asked not to go to the mosque because people gathered around him.

He continued that Kamal al-Ganzouri kept hiding his grief for a long time until a decision was issued by Field Marshal Hussein Tantawi on November 28, 2011 to form a government headed by him, referring to his visit to Ganzouri several months ago in Nile Valley Hospital and his will to stand beside Egypt and its president.
