The technical director of Haras al-Hodoud team, Mohamed Halim, said that Zamalek will not be affected during their confrontation this evening, Wednesday, with their exit from the African Champions League, which he sees as a great surprise in light of its possession of players at the highest level.
In statements to the “Stars in Ramadan” program, on Youth and Sports Radio, Halim indicated that the formation of the border guards in front of Zamalek would witness a surprise, pointing out that he would mix in the formation between the main and reserve players.
The technical director of Haras al-Hodoud explained that his team suffers from many absences in front of Zamalek due to injury, on top of which is his team’s goalkeeper, Ali Farag, noting that he played all his matches in the cup championship with the reserve players.
The Guard coach completed his statements by noting that his team will be rested after the match against Zamalek until the end of the month of Ramadan, a period that he will use to rearrange the cards.
Haras El Hodoud will meet its counterpart Zamalek at 9:30 pm today, Wednesday, at the Suez Stadium, in the 32nd round of the Egypt Cup.
It is noteworthy that Zamalek has left the group stage of the current edition of the African Champions League after finishing third, behind leaders Esperance of Tunisia and Mouloudia Algeria, the runner-up.
