The draw resulted in the Pyramids facing Enyimba of Nigeria in the quarter-finals of the African Confederation (CAF) season 2020-2021.
Pyramids finished second in Group D, while the Nigerian champion led Group A on goal difference from Orlando Pirates of South Africa.
Pyramids will face the first leg of the quarter-finals in Egypt at the air defense stadium, while the second leg is in Nigeria.
And the Pyramids face in the semi-final if they qualify for the winner of the Orlando Pirates match, South Africa against Moroccos Raja.
The draw for the quarter-finals was as follows:
Tunisian Sfaxien x Algerian JS Kabylie
Orlando Pirates of South Africa x Moroccan Raja
Pyramids x Enyimba Nigerian
Cameroonian cotton × Senegalese garaf
The quarter-finals will be played, the first leg of May 16 and the second leg of May 23.
The semi-final draw came:
Winner of the match (Pyramids vs Enyimba of Nigeria) x Winner of the match (Orlando Pirates of South Africa x Moroccos Raja)
Winner of the match (Cameroonian Cotton x Senegalese Garaf) x Winner of the match (Tunisian Sfaxien x Algerian JS Kabylie)
The semi-finals will be played, the first leg of June 20 and the return leg of June 27.
The final match will be held in a neutral stadium, yet to be determined, on the tenth of July.
The stadium that will host the final will be decided on May 15th.
